The Green Truck Summit and the Work Truck Show are
being held this week, March 5-6 and March 6-8 respectively. Live from the Indiana Convention
Center, the NTEA (National Truck Equipment Association) gives us the details on their educational sessions and exhibits.
More than 600 people attended the Green Truck Summit. They discussed making
products more energy-efficient, decreasing fuel consumption, and the future of
the green truck industry. The light-weight fiberglass Durashell distributed by Fleetwest Transferable Truck Bodies provides these
benefits.
Some of the leading topics discussed at the Green Truck Summit and Work Truck Show; the demand for trucks given current
Economic trends and international markets. There was an overall theme of future
growth for the work truck industry. Growth will be impacted by government
regulations such as highway funding, tax changes, and looming healthcare.
We can relate to the session today that teaches
product quality improvement, increased productivity, space utilization, and
increased safety which minimizes risks when matching trailers to work trucks. The
Fleetwest Transferable Truck Body - Load’N’Go can be taken on and off in minutes, fully loaded, increasing productivity
and saving space.
